Well none of our recently manufactured video cards could produce it. Still coders have been wrong before, it can happen again .

I've seen evidence that it still haunts us, so we still have more work to do.

Has to do with lag/stutters.

Thats why it often occurs during intense battles.

Same with red flash screen (or green sky flash)

You can see the flakes falling down with the speed the sky moves.

Yep, something to do with heavy load on the system when in big battles.

Only get it maybe once or twice a year, but always in massive battles.

My guess is something in the effects routine get overwhelmed with all the stuff it has to render and forgets to stop rendering a effect or 2.
