Turret rate ~5 times slower with keyboard 1.29

I use the keyboard for tanking and the turret traverse and elevate rates are waaay slower than normal. If I re-keymap ANYTHING in the "Tanks and Armored Cars" keymapper category then click "Save Changes" it fixes the problem, but only while the game is still running. If I exit the game and restart the problem comes back.

You should probably delete the old cfml files you have in your install directory DATA folder. That should fix this up.

That didn't work. I deleted the tank.cfml and for example I also deleted the diamler.cfml. I then spawn a diamler offline, slow turret movement with the a and d keys but fast with the mouse. I also tried removing the entire cfml folder and same thing.

(On a side note: deleting the tank.cfml file somehow made my framerate look like ~7fps as I spin turret with the mouse at the fast rate even though my framerate displayed over 100fps.) Could be some odd coincidence, gonna try a reboot after I post this.

Left Shift + W,A,S,D for your speedy turret movement.

I notice i only get the fast rate on the Left Shift + D but not W,A, or S.

Is the w,a,s,d keys supposed to be slow? Is there a way to set them as fast rate?

Thanks,

Martin

No martinv, I just tried it myself and I noticed the same thing. Only thing is, I don't use the keyboard for turret movement, I use the J/S.

Nevertheless I see what you mean
