1.29 Mini Map always zoomed in

Since 1.29, whenever I spawn a vehicle the mini-map in my GUI is always zoomed maximum in. I have to use the "-" key everytime I spawn in order to have the map at its maxxed out setting (Im a flyer). Prior to 1.29 the game would save the setting I had and would always use it.

1.29 doesnt appear to be saving the mini-map zoom level preference and its a PITA to adjust on every spawn.
