CTD after loading game

Ok. I've reinstalled fully. Made sure to clear all icons, registry, etc.

I do not have compatibility mode turned on.

I load the game..the red bar goes all the way to 100 percent...then I go back to desktop. Nothing.

Help.

WinXP

AMD 2600 Plus

NVIDIA GeForce 6600 LE

Everything worked fine until this new version.

I a having the same issue with except I don't even get to the loading bar. It throws up the black page as it always did and instead of bringing up the loading page it CTDs. I've done the same pretty much to try and fix and still no luck.

no _CPU_FEATURE_SSE2

ok, I had the same problem and this is how I fixed it.

maybe it'll work for some of you.

1st Uninstall all software

Download the most current version of the client and install it.

Upgraded my graphics driver and soundcard driver to the most current version. (I used NVidia's newest Beta driver FYI)

Set the graphics in game to the lowest setting and made sure SLI was turned off For my graphics cards.

This time it loaded and I slowley started bringing graphics up to where I Like them and turned on SLI.

Hope that helps some of you.

I get same thing... since the athlon rewrite I get too 95-100% then ctd...

I guess there must be a need for more then Newfive's issues to actually look into a problem... now there are 2.
