Looking up causes CTD

I am returning to the game after about 6 month break. I went to configure my views on my joy stick and noticed every time i try and look up while in an aircraft i ctd.

Is this a known bug?

is thier a work around?

I am running

Intel Quad CPU 2.40 GHZ

3gb RAM

XP Pro

ATI 4800

Siatek x45

CH Pro Pedals

I am not sure what is causing the issue at this point. It does not matter what I am crewing or as Inf if I use a key to look up (as if using the key pad or button assignment) it crashes immediatly to desk top.

This makes air to air combat a no go for right now cant keep good situational awareness with out it.

Still waiting on some sort of reply.
