Loading of ingame maps is lagging several seconds

Today i returned to BE after a long break and freshly installed the game.

I noticed quickly that the loading of all ingame maps is lagging for like 10-20 seconds or more. For that time im getting white parts all over the map. It happens with all maps, spawned or not. Otherwise the game runs ok.

I have 2 gigs of RAM and 256mb graphics ram so i dont think its some memory issue.

AMD A64 3500

Ati X800 graphics

2 gig RAM

Windows XP prof

I'm getting some bad white map recently also wasn't so bad in 1.29 as it would load almost instantly after going white but 1.30 it can be almost 20+ seconds.

An odd thing i saw was that when someone reported a mark and i accepted it as mission leader the map refreshed and the white areas loaded, could be coincidence.

System:

AMD Athlon 6000+ x2 3.0

Nvidia 8800gt

RAM 4gb

Vista 32 SP2
