I think I just put two and two together on something here. I get a bright flash ( (global, like a muzzle flash x10000) whenever an aircraft "shows up". I don't mean that as "enters view" (rendering) , but whenever an aircraft enters what would be max visual range wether rendered or not, my plane, the terrain, everything flashes.

I'd always gotten intermittent flashing at night but never pinned down the trigger, but when I was flying all alone out of berry AWS went active in my square, so I began checking my 6. I eventually get this "flash", and 20-30 seconds later when I look behind me there's Mr. Spit Vb bearing down on me (who couldn't kill me, and wound up running).

I only notice it at night, it could be happening during the day but is just imperceptible.

Yep had it forever on at least 2 dift computers. I think it happens when the 1st ea loads into your vizlist.

Is this related to a distant city on the horizon flashing like a lot of little white Lego bricks? Or is that a different feature altogether?
