Prior to downloading and testing v1.31.0.18, please read the introduction carefully.

Known issues:

We are currently tracking 399 known issues in v1.31.0. Below are some of the ones that you might come across in offline testing. Please do not report on issues here though we do welcome your bug reports. We are most interested in crash reports and any bug that you can replicate reliably. Please provide a step by step for replication of any bug that you report.

Moderators in the Open Test Forum will be closing and pruning tickets in an effort to help reduce our workload. Also be aware that I'll be reading just about every post on the forum so please be concise in your reporting. Moderators will be closing any thread, posted in any forum that is a known issue. Please do not be offended if your thread is closed without comment.

System Specs:

  • The game now requires a CPU that supports SSE2
  • The game now requires a GPU that supports SM 3.0
  • All users should have the latest drivers for their GPU

Infantry:

  • There are still some oddities with the stamina drain when changing positions
  • Mouse sensitivity issues are not finalized (sprint)
  • Can deploy while standing and crouched
  • Infantry eye heights do not always match up between first and third person
  • Cloned infantry do not function like player infantry this is not an issue

Vehicles:

  • There are some sorting issues with surfaces in virtual cockpits
  • Several gun sights have draw errors
  • Metal hit sprites are still under review
  • Some tanks have frozen tracks
  • Several planes have missing textures in various states like flaps down or damaged
  • Decals and smoke effects have alpha sorting issues
  • Fairmile nets are funky
  • Some tracers are too large
  • External bombs are not rendered on planes
  • Aircraft guns stop rendering during the expenditure of their remaining ammunition
  • There are some reload/occlusion issues with gunner positions on vehicles that have them
  • Fires and explosions may have a green tinge to them
  • Cloned vehicles cannot be damaged/killed this is not an issue

UI/HUD:

  • Building icons on the map are fubar
  • White map may still be an issue for some though reported fixed by many
  • The map background renders as a green mask when zoomed in

Effects:

  • Some effects are an eerie green color (we think it's zombie gas)
  • Wakes and sprays are incomplete
  • Several muzzle flashes still need tweaking
  • Rain sound has a glitch
  • Main guns sometimes show old weird effect
  • Still some alpha sorting issues with some effects
  • Reflections sometimes turn off
  • Some footfall sounds on new textures are incorrect

Weather:

  • The cloud layer occasionally has blank holes
  • Rain does not interact well with long porches

Terrain:

  • Some video cards may not draw SpeedTrees
  • There is a lot of floating grass
  • Docks, Bridges and RR stations are not terrainizing properly
  • Several other buildings do not terrainize properly
  • Some docks and capture buildings are missing from the world
  • Some berm objects do not have trees
  • Some AI are floating
  • Transparency issues can be found on objects like the hangar doors
  • Some sand bags appear black
  • The sheep do strange things with corpses
  • There are no poewr lines
  • Some road and rail transitions needs work

SmartHeap:

  • SmartHeap error messages have been replaced with custom out of memory messages
  • Memory tuning and performance is on going

Preferences:

  • Vsync is not working
