Please post all CTD in this thread.

CTD logs can be found in the install directory of Battleground Europe TEST.

The log most useful is the ww2error.log. Please post this log with any information about the circumstances of the crash in the forum titled for the current version.

[uPDATED!]

STILL no ww2error.log in my (x86)\CRS\Battleground Europe TEST install folder, after reproducing the crash a 2nd time?

Game gave me an ODE then a run-time error? Had to close the program.

All I could read (did a print-screen) was:

"ODE INTERNAL ERROR 1

"assertion "bNormalizationResult" failed in

../../include/ode/odemath.h:321"

(Click OK)

Windows Vista

AMD Quad-core

8 or 9 Gigs of RAM

ATI Radeon 4850 Driver version 8.14.0010.0700 (I *AM* getting black water in the river, there)

Was testing ragdolls at the top of the mountain East of Dinant, sniping them from below. Sniped several with no problems until this crash.

Had just toggled FRAPS version 2.9.9 (build 8086) real-time video capture when doing so, but this did not IMMEDIATELY result in an error and I had toggled it on a few times before that with no event. (Same when reproducing the crash. Did not IMMEDIATELY result in an error. Again sniped a number of clones before the crash.)

Here is video. When the bell goes off, that's the error/crash happening. Happens in two different scenes. FRAPS becomes stuck recording that same frame.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tjUezDRBHQ

I was in Start > ... Practice Offline instead of Test Offline.

I'll update my video driver after I've done the benchmark tests.

I got a CTD when spawning in as a german grenadier after having played around with the clones for awhile. It said "the application is out of memory and will exit". WW2_log contains

Application exited: out of memory on d/12/22 2009:21:09

(That timedate looks garbled, too...)

Got another CTD when I shot a clone that was standing on a stone wall N of eab in Sedan:

assertion "bNormalizationResults" failed in ../../include/ode/odemath.h:321

No error files were saved.

CTD after running the second benchmark test (benchvehicles). There is no error log within the test directory. While spawned in, I typed .benchvehicles and pressed the Enter key and then CTD. No error messages received.

CTD as soon as I try to execute the application running Windows 7 Ultimate. Screen flashes, never see logo or intro screen, immediately returns to desktop. Tried troubleshooting and running in Windows XP SP2/SP3 compatibility mode, and also as user "administrator" both from command line and from link, all with same results. Here is the output from the following files following the crash:
