No directionally cast shadows? WTF?

I don't think this is a time issue since we're not doing directionally cast shadows but I'll wait for more feedback before ticketing.

Please expand testing.

WTF?

Shadows in a game with a moving sun that do not move with the sun are silly, nothing more. Everybody will probably disabled them then.

Regarding that, we have tree shadows even at night, I just tested 12am.

And they are still directly beneath the trees.

@zehive: "light source" as you seem to see it, is not really anything meaningful in that context. It's about the source position of the shadow caster, or actually it probably is not in that case - it seems to me CRS just paints a gray blob underneath objects, regardless of how any light is positioned. Now that is a poor way to do shadows today - games did it better 5 years ago.
