What driver version do you use? To me it looks like a buggy driver...

Got the latest driver off ATIs website.

Even tried to reinstall em - still same problem.

Catalyst 9.11?

I know people have been successful using later drivers than the 9.11, the 9.11 has been "buggy" with 1.31 betas. I am not sure if either 9.12 or 10.1 are available for XP 64 bit yet though :(

Regarding ATI's website, the X1800XT gfx card is on a legacy support scheme, so latest available driver is 9.11

Tried to install 10.2 but didn't make any difference.

Yep, for this card series the 9.11 is the latest driver.

The biggest problem with this bug is maybe none of the trees are visible :)

1.31.0.26 problems encountered:

1. No trees at all (there are tree stumps and logs in the new tree stumps/logs areas though).

2. Some textures are green; buildings and vehicles and when walking outside spawn area the first-person hands turn green.

Specs:

Core2 Duo E7300 2,66GHz

2GB PC6400 800MHz

Abit IP35 Pro LGA775

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit / Windows XP Professional SP2

Powercolor ATI Radeon X1950 Pro 256Mb PCI-E (Catalyst 9.11)

Creative X-Fi XtremeMusic

I've tried virtually everything in both driver settings and setting to "Use application setting" and changing all video options in-game. Nothing seems to get rid of the green textures and the non-existent trees.

I also tested using Windows XP Professional on the same system and using up-to-date ATI drivers, only to end up with the same problems as seen below. Seems to be an ATI driver issue?

This is how 1.31.0.26 looks to me:

Staying in spawn area and hands are using normal textures.

Leaving AB barracks or walking onto elevated roof in depot will cause green hands as seen in picture below. Stepping back will bring back normal hand textures.

No trees are drawn and no tree colliders are present either.

NB: These issues have existed for me ever since the first 1.31 offline beta was released.

Catalyst 9.11 has been confirmed buggy during the Beta and crash prone, you should try 9.12 or 10.1 instead.

I am somewhat disturbed that there might be some cheating by people who on purpose install an older buggy driver to get rid of trees and other terrain elements when the 1.31 goes live.

Is there any way that CRS can block people from using too old drivers? Or is this something we have to live with...

From my very limited knowledge I'd guess it's something we'll have to live with. I'm not sure what CRS can do about someone using different or old drivers.

Tested with 9.12, 10.1 and 10.2 with the same results. Saw a pretty nice increase in fps with 10.2, but still green, green and green and no trees :(

Sounds like there's something else that's wrong with your system then. Have no real idea what though.

Had lots of black bars across my screen. Happened when I looked at certain buildings. Installed 10.2 and no issues. Plus I noticed a FPS increase!
