[1.31.0.24] jerky running on sprint

I'm getting strange speed changes when I sprint. It's mostly noticeable when looking to the side. It's like it slows down and speeds up like the guy gets stuck in syrup and then catches up. It could be laggy frames, but I don't think so. It seems as if it happens over several frames (hard to tell though).

im pretty sure that there is a new feature where you only sprint full speed going straight ahead. if you angle left or right a bit, it slows down..

i think i read that in one of the patch notes somewhere....

no this is more than that. The problem is the following:

If you are spinting obviously you're movement is very limited. But then if you release the sprint button and start a new movement, you can turn fine again.

BUT

If you are sprinting and making a turn, and then release the sprint button while continuing to turn the mouse, you're movement will stay "locked" in slow turn mode for a good second or two, no matter what you do.

I don't know if it constitutes as a "bug" or not, but the inconsistency in feel that this creates is confusing and a little disorienting.

The slow turn rate when running is silly since my mouse can change DPS with a button.

Thus I can turn at normal speed while others can't.
