I have not been able to find it latelly but I have only been able to check on clear days.

The next chance I get on a rainy day I will confirm the fix.

did you happen to notice that if you take a 40mm bofors and point it right at the sun, the sun disappears?

in offline mode, spawn any countrys 40mm, spawn in the givet ab.

push just to the edge of the veh spawn and deploy.

change your time settings to 7am (it should be just above the trees to the east) - zoom to view +1, you will see the sun fine, zoom to +2 and it will vanish.

change the time and follow the sun across the sky, you will see it fine all the way until 1500 hours which is just above the vehicle spawn roof. it should vanish again.

all of this ONLY happens in zoom 2. ill test in other towns but i remember the time being about the same (1500) on beta when i first noticed this effect in roemond.

follow up. just tried haybes. with the same results.. 7am and 1700 this time.

btw.. there is a city floating above the north hills in haybes.. (hmm floating city vanished in offline mode when i spawned a plane. reloaded the offline mode and its gone now.. random..)

ya thats another bug, i think it may have been nicknamed the 'essen' bug. known issue

did you try on lowest graphics settings? i think thats what im set on. ill double check all settings and post again.

down a bit (sun is behind sight guard)

move to the right (or any other direction), sun should be completely visible
