Step by step for reproduction:

- Spawned in as rifleman or any other inf unit

- Open map

- move mouse around on map

- close map

- persona's view moves automatically to the direction u scrolled with the mouse on map

Might been there since the beginning but only beta39 allowed me to get playable fps.

MBpro 2.4ghz /4gb /9400M 256mb

Osx 10.5.xx

Possibly it's related to 10.6 vs 10.5 like the 'cant shoot when changing stance' bug that we saw earlier on 10.5 macs.

Curious if people with 10.6 get it and if anyone else here is experiencing this problem too.

Can post screenies if necessary.

Forgot that the same goes for aa/atg and armored vehicles.

Basically all the positions where i'm using my mouse to change view, steps 2-5 remain true.

Well I see it moves *slightly*. This would happen since the mouse position from before the map was opened and after it closes is different. Maybe a few degrees at most. Are you getting more than that?

I might be able to reset the mouse position when the map closes which might make it less.

It's not a 10.5 thing unless its like 40 degrees or something for you.

I had noticed this before too. Depending on how much you move with the map, like click-hold-drag-release, repeat, it can change plenty.

It is VERY irritating when you are trying to range something based on a landmark it is near, or trying to keep an eye on something in the distance.

And with non-infantry units I would imagine it is even more infuriating.

Ya know, at first Romsburg, you rubbed me the wrong way and I wasn't a fan. But over the past 12 months, you have really grown on me. You're precise, well spoken and although you are sometimes a little harsh, you are most often correct and in proper context with your responses.

The move is always between 20-25 degrees.

Thing is imagine you are hidden perfectly in a bush f.ex. or in a building, open map and scroll around and your position changes with it even if just the 20 degrees, and now your feet stick out.

In a tank its even more annoying with the magnification of the gunner or commander which makes the jump bigger, same for atgs.

Can imagine that in some combat situations it will get you killed.

Odd, I could only get a couple degrees. What size monitors do you guys have? Are you both on 10.5?
