When you throw in a handgrenade into a river, the won't explode? Is this on purpose?

I'm pretty sure they dont explode in 1.30 either.

Yes but why? WWII grenades couldn't explode in the water?

If you bounce the grenade off of the bank first, it will roll onto the surface of the water as if it is ice, then explode.

Same if you bounce it off a bridge.

Don't know if you can bounce it off a swimming infantry, doubt it since w can run through each other.

Also dunno if it bounces off boats.

Ya know, at first Romsburg, you rubbed me the wrong way and I wasn't a fan. But over the past 12 months, you have really grown on me. You're precise, well spoken and although you are sometimes a little harsh, you are most often correct and in proper context with your responses.

I can't say [any]thing else [than] that the ban was justified considering that you have an 'impressive' TOS history....

Maybe the water would stop it from igniting? I have no idea what these should do historically.

Yahoo Answers has posters who say that hand grenades are sealed to prevent moisture contanimation and that the fuse has it's own oxidiser, so yes, they should work underwater.

It's probably just because the grenade stop existing when entering water. A delayed spray of water would be cool though.

There is no spoon.

There is no water.

There is no underwater.

There is nothing under the water.

Grenades explode under the water.

Get it?

Yeah got it! Seems impossible to fix with the current terrain right?

Pretty much. The grenades fall through the water (no collisions) and explode somewhere in the twilight zone. Not really worth any time at present.

Just a thought, when you have time, have a splash mark when they hit the water.

Or do they already splash on impact?
