[.39] Troop turret resolution increase?

Infantry:

- greatly increased turret resolution for all turrets (vehicles and troops)

I suspected this only pertained to the resolution of the net updates, but just to test I spawned a sniper and... indeed, the movement, especially sideways, is still in noticeable chunks. It's really annoying to not be able to aim the rifle with the same resolution as the monitor output, as it is now it can happen that you can see an enemy but because he happens to be "between the positions" that you can aim at, you can't hit them.

Since vehicle turrets, that have much higher magnification than the sniper rifles, aren't afflicted with this problem, it seems it's designed to do this. Can it be fixed?

We’re also (gorilla) looking at how we exchange turret orientations. Right now, 3rd person turret sighting is only accurate to within 1.41 degrees (360/255). ARGH! With dial-up out of the picture, we want to crank that up to 0.01 degree accuracy (360 / 32400).

i believe it is so for example tanks, your computer is rendering the exploding visuals on its own based on the direction and elevation of the gunbarrel.

so instead of large chunks of turning of the turret it will be alot smaller bits. so that the impacts renders alot closer to what the shooter sees for everyone else.
