Beta looked like crap for me, until I

I have been very dissapointed in the dark look of 1.31 until in the "CATALYST Control Center" I selected the "Microsoft MCE black and white level" setting on the gamma adjust page. I think it was a 100% improvement even though I prefer the day look of 1.30. So if you have ATI give it a try.
