Tilburg E CP rubble frame loss

I have an old GTS 8800 (latest drivers) and a minimum spec comp to go along with it, and can pull around 30-40 FPS in most situations, except perhaps large inf fights with corpses.

I did get massive slowdowns in Tilburg around the E CPs area, which was caused either by one of the destroyed buildings or smoke it was giving off. My FPS would insta-drop from 30 to 1, and then back to 30 the second I got the rubble out of view.

The area in question is around the eastern most CPs in Tilburg, right next to the road into town (I'd hazard a guess it's the ruins on the right hand side when looking into town / towards main street).

Wish you could give me mre info (lat/long?). I'm walking all over destroyed Tilburg east and not seeing any big fps hits (60-90).

Also not seeing any smoke so wondering if we have different settings.

Turned on quality settings, have smoke but not seeing killer rubble. Will keep looking for a few.

This building was destroyed and giving off smoke. The moment it got out of my view, FPS went back to normal. I was in a 232 at the time and there were smoke grenades going off which did not give me a significant loss in FPS. Only this spot did.

Weird. I have same card and a lot more resolution and I am not getting the 1fps issue here.

I'd just play with combat smoke off.
