Ok. Now I'm using the Bittorent link above. Seems about the same speed.

Hmm. A screen showing the links on my desktop popped up. So what do I do with that.

Don't like that I didn't get an option to chose where to save it... I don't want things on my desktop.

And, it still saves in a temp directory as well and then copies it to the desktop, don't like that either.

I wouldn't worry about it. I was just suggesting that you offer a torrent DL magnet link ( Like the pirate bay) Because i just click the link and it shows up in my tracker without me doing anything else. That way you don't have to piss meh off with stealing my desktop space :-)

But not everyone has microtorrent or something else so i would keep up what your doing.

Next issue...

After I rebooted that friggin DNA program was up and running.

I REALLY don't like this at all. Nothing indicated that it was about to install anything.

I DLed under Ubuntu 10 and Firefox using the URL in the OP. I just clicked the URL and a normal file download window came out where I could choose to save the file. No problems.

However, the speed was not very good (40-50kb/s). I usually get at least about 10x better speed downloading from http://installers.wwiionline.com/. But it's still plenty faster then the auto-updater I guess...

But then it was an older update, and the .43 update via Playgate was not bad.
