Mouse escapes to second display in full screen mode

Setup:

screen 1: Main monitor

screen 2: Second monitor

(sometimes screen 3: TV)

I play BE in full screen mode on the main monitor.

The problem is that while playing infantry the mouse escapes to the second monitor. The fix is to deactivate the second monitor while playing.

Other full screen applications (games) do not have the same problem.

For context:

I run win 7, dual monitor

Main screen BE, secondary is desktop.

The mouse occasionally after start up will wander to the second screen, but a click in the BE window fixes that.

in other words in 1.31 i have had zero problems with this.

Nevermind this thread, the problem is almost fixed. Thanks for that!

edit:

Right now I could produce a problem only with some kind of combination of new pop up in the bacground + right click, but I can live with that.

Cool. Was pretty sure this was fixed up in 1.31.

In the beta's the problem was solved, in the new 131 live version it is back. (?!)

Mouse wanders of to 2nd screen (to the right)

When firing weapon it opens the config from the desktop on the 2nd screen.

Killed me more than once. Now I disable the 2nd screen (like in the old live version).

Odd. I've been frustrated by this problem for years but 1.31 fixed it.

I'm still running the game in "Vista compatibility mode" (on Windows 7). I dunno if that has anything to do with it.

Freeware program that locks your mouse to a window. Don't ask me how to use it. I had to fiddle with it for a while before I got it working and I'm not sure what I did -- I set Ctrl-F12 to a hotkey to enable/disable the feature and got it working in Test mode and haven't touched it since.

I haven't tried using it since 1.31 though. Hasn't been necessary.

This was fixed in 1.31.

Turn off compatibility mode.
