Specs:

Dell XPS M1530

Processor: 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo 800 MHz FSB

RAM: 4 GB

Video Card: NVIDIA 8600 MGT

OS: Vista Ultimate 32-bit

Wow another one I was experiencing that I didn't no others had as well. I would go from 50-60 fps to 10-15 looking at the same terrain with binocs.

Guys, it's self-evident that the FPS will go down. The graphics card has to draw more. If you want to help assess this problem, do the test in my sig and post the results.

No it doesn't.

In fact many people get an FPS boost when zooming in on trees.
