I *knew* the issue was not becuase my vid card could not render the trees, but something with the code.

THANK YOU RATS (which ever one) that fixed it (by accident?)!!!1!one!

I have lost at least 5 FPS, but it's still playable.

In some ways the FPS seems more stable in 1.30. Fewer FPS dips, which alone makes up fro the lower FPS.

I noted the more consistent FPS in PC version too.
