Here is the situation:

was helping beta1/jizzyjazz test ragdolls. spawned in as german lmg, got killed, respawned.

when i respawned i couldn't change stance - i would push the button, the icon would change, but my view would not; third person view didn't change either but everyone commented that i wasn't holding a weapon.

from my view i had my weapon so i tried firing it; nothing

i cycled through all weapons, nothing.

respawned, tried again. prior to attempting to change the stance i could shoot, once i tried to change it was a no go and i wasn't changing stances.

i switched thru different infantry types and even changed sides; same thing.

while my view and 3rd person showed me standing my movement reflected the stance the icon showed: if i was shown as prone i "crawled" complete with the first person animations of my hands moving in front of me and the speed reduced.

anyone else seen this? rats, any clue?

I believe this was .44, just to avoid any confusion. We were on at same time I was and heard you guys talking about this.
