cant get beta workin

downloaded and patched updates and during the install it tells me:

the file C:/progra~/CRS/battle~2/playarc01.ww2 is not a valid previous version and could not be upgraded

I'm pretty sure that was fixed, besides, the error he's getting isn't related to that.

You should run check disk or a similar utility and check your hard drive for errors, or you may have a RAM issue.

Anyway, I'd grab the latest full install and go from there.

1.30 no longer required for beta to work.

Always grab the latest full installer and uninstall previous Battleground Europe TEST installs first.

I have the same problem except the installer hangs at 7% and says; The file C:\Program Files\CRS\Battleground Europe TEST\playarc01.ww2 could not be opened.

I just uninstalled the beta about a hour ago and d/led the .43 full install and it installed no probs, as did the .44 patch. So it does'nt appear to be a installer prob.

It is my second time trying it with the same results.

I just got the same 'could not be opened' error, same file, same spot. Fresh install on a computer that's never had it installed before.
