Seems to be working well other then all the fire bugs and my guy doing back flips when I move my mouse up and down. :)

Trying to get used to the new mouse sensitivity in this version is proving to be a challenge.

2nd ctd seems to happen when an explosion happens like a tank blowing up.

First time I have tried the beta and am really impressed with all the new graphical improvements.

However, I seemed to suffer really bad lag, almost every player had a fire bug and even though im using a high dpi laser mouse (kone) I had to use maximum dpi just to be able to tuen my player when moving.

Otherwise very good.

Amazing.

Only I can report is some minore issue with:

1. Lag (only yesterday while flying so maybe is myconn related);

2. Too dark during day, even if you're reproducing winter;

3. Often firebug;

4. AI lethality (I know you never changed till '08 but ...)

Good. One thing noticeably worse than 130 was lag for me. Enemy warping badly during time i was on. Saw two infantry stop in the running pose for a second then reappear a fair way ahead. Havent seen it act like that in 1.30.

CTD every 40 mins ish seems to be when changing crew position or firing but too random to be sure.

Audio - intermitant in out sounds, very hard to judge direction of audio.

Lag - warping players / vehicles.

Ai - way to accurate, occasionaly cannot be destroyed.

firebugs, extreme lag/studders (ground units blinking 50ft then freezing, and repeating), shooting inf and they dont die, or they turn and shoot then die, falling through the ground from a ums near zand..

get the lag, falling through the ground, and firebugs sorted out, and it's lookin like a great beta.. :)

- The game is way too dark overall;

- Midday should be more brighter. I didn't notice any difference between 6:00 and 12:00 and 18:00;

- The sky is too gray even in a clear sky;

- Too many people warping around while flying;

- Too many firebugs all around.

Seeing lots of lag in game all over. Tried to drive a tank close to a town and hit with 5 or 6 fps. Unplayable.

Bug report about 1.31.0.44:

-Lag. A lot of lag.

-Flying objects, expecially the towed ATGs that fly and jump everywhere.

-The corpses on bridge, when bridge is destroyed, remain suspended in air.

-Sometimes happens that the visual totter periodically and continuosly every ~10 sec.

-Maybe the damage system is not 100% correct 'cause i have shooted with 50mm L/42 in the upper armor of Sher76 while he was trying to climb a mountain without any succes, but when i shooted in his frontal turret i killed him. I'm not saing that the damage-system is bad, but....it seems too strange. Even with PaK40 i have encountered some strange fact. I struggled to destroy a Sher75 and Crusader...they're not heavy armored for the 75mm L/48.

-Sometimes the terrain becomes dark for an istant.

-The beautyfull tons and tons of grass that cover the terrain (and sometimes even other objects) appear with delay. Don't misunderstand me, it's a really good thing that the terrain is full of grass, the bad thing is only the delay.

-The game crashed 3 times in 2 hours.

-Happened 2 times in only 1 hour that the visual starts to become red and blurred without any reason and continued until i despawned.

Two suggestions:

-The Tiger has 4 reverse so, could be a good thing to see R1, R2, R3 and R4 instead of always R.

-It will be very very very nice to upgrade multicrew. I think that allowing N° crewman = N° players could be a nice thing.

I don't like the radial clutter. It gives people a false sense of concealment.

I shot 2 or 3 sappers last night crawling through an open field, they obviously thought they were in concealment when they were crawling through an open field.

Tracers for LMGs, I don't like this.

Otherwise the beta looks nice.

I had a very fun evening of LW sorties for the "Combined Arms Combat Event."

*Stable FPS and Ping, really did not notice much of a difference(at least in the air)

*Graphics from the air were nice, though like others have said perhaps a bit too dark(when flying low it really feels like the ground is racing past you at a high speed, which is very very cool)

*Some warping but it only occurred once against a P-38

*Sound was bugged for me, where when I turned in one direction(for example left or right) the engine noise would completely stop from one side

All in all I had a very good time, looking forward to 1.31 ;)

The radial clutter obstructs your view if you are prone and the enemy can see you clearly past the radial clutter. It is all wrong.

it happened to me twice. when plane crashed next to me and when tank exploded,

other bad things:

-lag worse than 1.30

-annoying clutter

-day too dark

-night almost as bright as overcast day (FIX IT PLZ!)

-ai too accurate

-miss the bunker ;)

good ones:

-HE explosions

-bullet hit puffs

-sun glare

-lmg/bofors/planes tracer

-capture system

-smoke effects

Part 3:

-Sound bug: when you shot sometimes there is no audio, or when you reload. Or, again, sometimes there is the bug of permanent sound of LMG/SMG (this bug is already in 1.30)

-HE rounds are totally useless against infantry/ATGs because if you don't hit exatly the units then they don't take any damage...come on! HE generates a big explosion, you can kill/wound enemies even if you hit 1-2-3 meters away.

-The bars-gate at the entrance of ABs are really fastidious and impede the vehicles passage.

-Hit tanks don't cause any sparks and steel fragments as the 1.30 version.

Location choice needs to be more carefully considered for these events.

Yesterday, the event at Remagen was turned into a 4 hour camp fest of the allied Ab.

Tigers immediately went on the hills and right up to the edge of the river to fire into the allied vehicle spawn while, the EA bombed the AB with little fear of allied air (axis naval ai was unkillable and shredded any allied air that got close to the town.)

Now i'm not saying its the axis fault for any of that. Had tables been reversed, the allies would be doing the same thing. Its not a side thing at all. both sides do this given the opportunity and I have no ill will for the axis.

But when you have alot of old players returning to try out the game again - the last thing you want is a 4 hour one-sided campfest on the AB they are trying to spawn into.

It just immediately ruins impressions for alot of returning people that might be thinking of subscribing (and in this case possibly subscribing to play the side that needs some players.)

All i'm saying is please pick some towns that aren't easily camped where both sides have a decent chance of having a nice fight and some fun in the process.

Feedback from testing saturday (Remagen battle):

Wow - that was a major battle. One of the biggest in my time here. I had a lot of CTD´s (once every 10 to 15 min) so only played for 1 hour. Other than that things looked good. Lowest FPS I had was 15 - mostly in the 20 range but given the number of players in the area I guess that was to be expected. Overall a really impressive battle - too bad there were so many CTD´s.

Feedback from testing sunday:

I logged in and left my unit in Charleroi (not much action going on) for approx. 3 hours. No CTD - unit was still there when I came back. Did some fighting in Remagen as well - no CTD´s there either.

I did however experience some invisible units. After spawning out and spawning back in a lot more units were suddenly there. But still - no CTD´s at all.

Overall:

Fix the CTD´s and the problems with units disappearing - and it looks good to ship from my end.

Cant play this beta for more than 10 min before I get a CTD .. everytime. :mad:

What CRS needs is detailed descriptions of the circumstances, post the error logs in the Sticky...only telling them this does not work, that doesn't work won't help them a lot.

If you seriously want to improve the game and help to speed up the process until 1.31 gets released, post more helpful information.
