It does not create good impression. Firebugs galore, infantry teleporting and flying thrugh the air, dancing tigers...

That's a bummer, was the same way when I left last night around 2 AM EST. The firebugs were brutal, 2 or 3 at a time, seemed nearly constant.

The laggy infantry issue has been identified and a fix is in the works.

Not sure about the fire bug.

noticed that yesterday when i spawn a aa gun in gedinne.. i think there was 2-3 friendly inf in the ab alone with firebug.

sitting in a fb right now.. warping/lagging tanks and planes atm..

Dancing tigers are cute though...

Air combat was very laggy over Gedinne last night, I haven't seem that much consistent warpage since dial-up.

I didn't have lag, but watched a few planes warping through the sky, tanks dancing on both sides, firebugs, CTD 5 minutes after I look at my map, guys on teamspeak saying they CTD after firing their main gun on a tank. Hope those get fix before it goes live.

Most of this we can blame on the 80386 at the heart of the beta server:D.

Yeah, lag on server has been bad today. AA gunning was hard, A2A was hard... bit hard to shoot warping spit with tg :)

It's unfortunate that all of the players that were sent invitations to join us for this free beta weekend are going to be experiencing all of the warp/other server issues and will probably just assume it's because of the 1.31 netcode.

It won't make for a good first impression of 1.31 - but I don't guess there's a whole lot that can be done about it.

It is labeled 'beta' for a reason though, I'd hope that they can understand the what that term means in it's definition.

It's unfortunate that all of the players that were sent invitations to join us for this free beta weekend are going to be experiencing all of the warp/other server issues and will probably just assume it's because of the 1.31 netcode.

I know what you mean, but ya can't assume - some people just don't care to understand why something is the way it is, or stop to think that it may be laggy/warpy only because it's the beta server. They'll just assume that's the way it's going to be and it'll help to remind them why they left in the first place.

Just the way it is unfortunately - but I think *most* will realize that it IS still a beta at the moment.

It's been great to see so many green tags in the server over the past few days, hope they all come back full time!

Didnt experience any problems when I just was playing. Earlier I did.

My 40mm HE round into your 110 engine caused a minor problem sir.

I noticed one of the camping tigers had some kind of bug where it would disapear and reappear repeatedly while I was firing on it. He seemed to be unkillable and the m10 rounds were not effecting him but he was killing shat loads of stuff in our Ab.
