1.31 ui question

We are having a "wierd" time in 1.31 beta trying out caps (two towns capped axis so far).

What does this mean?

This is us guarding a capped enemy bunker.

What does > or < mean?

In the pic yellow bar is growing and in this situation there must have been more axis in bunker than allies, so I assume that yellow means def and red means the portio enemy has capped?

(I think both attackers and defenders should have just one red bar which goes up and down: if more defenders in the area the red bar should go down, if more attackers it should go up. And it should grow from left to right.)

This looks like a bug, and should be posted in the Open test forums so it can be looked at.

I'm not even sure of the "correct" functionality of these bars, so I can't judge if something is not working as is should :)

All the >'s and <'s and yellow and red bars seem somewhat confusing way to show something that could be done simply with one bar that either grows or decreases.

i dont really understand why we cant just go with the tried and true method of a ticker bar like the battlefield series. its not confusing at all and everyone understands it instantly.

Ticketed it for a redo at some point.

You've changed the colors but defaults are like the map axis == red allies == blue.

> means attackers capturing

< means defenders liberating

Ah, so the colors are the same as friendly and enemy tags?

I belive blue is default for friendly, so

axis == red allies == blue is right only if you are playing on the allied side. On axis side with the default colors it would be

axis == blue allies == red ?

In any case, I have always had yellow tags for friendlies; blue is sometimes difficult to read. :)
