Issue getting into Beta Server

I am having similar issues i believe. I have deleted all previous beta versions...re d/l'd and nothing..

Here is what I get...

I choose Beta server - then my screen goes black w/mouse cursor on it...get an hourglass/mouse cursor ... then PC freezes up and have to manually restart it. The last attempt actually got it to the BE screen just before the BE loading screen.

I have not tried beta in a few updates, but however it worked then..probably a month or so ago.

If I need to post anything lemme know.

Edited: the latest try got me to the loading bar /// it said "connecting to network

If you are running windows 7 right click on the executable goto property's, then under compatibility switch it over to xp with the latest sp. If you have vista or xp then give a ticket a go.

NO. 1.31 should work without compatibility.

Check that you have the latest video drivers for your video card installed. And confirm that you meet the minimum specs.

I am on a mac and you described exactly what happened to me (except no hourglass). I had to restart 2x then I ran it in offline mode and it loaded, then I have had no problems getting it to run.
