The new explosion from tank shell or atg is bad , when you getting fire from et or atg the explosion smoke stay for like 3-4 sec and you can't return fire the most of time, and when i see video footage of firing tank the explosion dont look like this game at all...

yes i agree had a shootout with an church 3 in my stugi he was 600 meter away well he shoot at me 10 times before i even was able to locate him cuz of the impact smoke from his tiny 6 pndr just bigger then an shell from dd we have now on lifeserver and it stays way to long.

Created a couple tickets for this because of the inheent problem and the quick fix.

What I'm seeing is that the shooter has effectively no explosive effects from his round impacting while the target sees a much more lasting smoke cloud.

We need to trim this effect down so return fire can be made. Then we need to fix the main problem of the ghost round (first person) not having the correct effect shown.

I always thought this was a problem with only the shooters client actually knowing what round was fired since all damage is calculated on the shooters side then sent to the receiver? would it not be as simple as sending everyone else the information about what kind of round is being fired? This is just based on what ive read.
