The next release after .46 will have new lighting in it. Use this thread for feedback.

Our goals here were to get a little more atmosphere on clear days and have overcast be gloomy. We've lightened both of these a bit from previous betas.

Night time has gotten brighter and flatter looking.

I think .46 night time is far too bright. As it is I can see things perfectly well during night and day. 1.30 night time darkness is preferred. Overcast days are maybe a little too dark, but not overly so.

If these brightness levels are to be maintained, then some kind of washout effect should be applied so that we lose contrast. One way or the other I don't think it should be so easy to find targets at night.

.46 night looks like a dreary day near dusk. Can you make it dark pls :)

Saying it bluntly CRS. It looks like crap. Night time should be what it is...NIGHT TIME. WAYYYY to bright.

I would say to take everything down just a little bit and it'll be good.

Overcast Days aren't that gloomy,

Night overcast is too bright

Night is too bright.

Personally, i think .44 was almost perfect, maybe just a little bright. I almost feel as if this is a step back.

P.S. If you set it to rain, then go to 19:00, the darkness is perfect, unfortunately it gets lighter after that time.

I can see, but playing in the middle of the day with sunlight shining bright through 8 windows here in FL makes it very hard to see. My settings are fine, it just my location and I never liked night time play anyhow.

Well however you set it it is easier to deal with when you can access your 2nd monitor to adjust video settings. Strange in that last night I was able to drag cursor to 2nd and now I cant in Beta. What gives?

I guess I should have locked this. I'll start a new thread when the time comes.
