Vista vs. 7 for 1.31

I am going to be doing a clean install of Vista HP 64 bit on a HDD and Windows 7 HP 64 bit on another HDD. Once I've got all the drivers installed on both operating systems and the 1.31 I plan on doing tests again and seeing if the operating system makes much difference and gives any better results with Windows 7 as some have claimed. Everything will be identical except the operating system. Right now 1.31 isn't performing worth a dang under Vista. Since I was planning on getting 7 anyhow I am going to see if either OS truely gives better results. I may post the results if anyone is interested. If there is even an average of 2 FPS difference I'll be noting it.

No matter what the results turn out to be I am getting kind of tired of Vista anyhow so out of curiosity I am going to test both with 1.31. I know a lot of players are running hardware similar if not identical to my setup so someone else may want to know how it works out. It's strictly a comparison to see if 1.31 is more favorable to either one.
