Feedback - Auto AO placement

We made some significant changes to automatic AO placement recently. Namely there must always be one but also it now tries to counter attack.

What's your feedback?

Not sure when this was done, but yesterday the system wanted to place an auto-ao on an empty town. (beta-server)

The only thing that happened was we got the message every 15 minutes about the ao, the ao was never placed on the town.

Think the problem is 1 rule tells system to place the ao, other rule is no softcaps with 1 ao :)

The idea is good, but counter attacks will be placed on a town you just lost, so if the other side don't move in a bde the ao won't be approved by the system (the no softcap-rule)

Hope you understand what i posted

Good idea, but if the area is hot, and the supply from this div is low, the counterattack will be give the enemy advantage in time, to attrit another div sisterflag, to make some required moves, and make it possible to do a little breakout in this area.

There will be no time for resupply, for rest, or cooldown in this area ... i dont like it. !S

1 AO min seems obvious, and I assume it is placed against a town where there is a lot of friendly activity.

However I would say the auto-AO be only placed where the FB is owned by the attacking side .

Can you explain how this "counterattack" is meant to work?

If code possible, putting an auto-AO on surrounded towns works too. This will expedite the cleaning up of captured territory.
