LMG muzzle flash

Im not sure of this has been discussed before- I would guess so, but cant find anything looking 10 pages back.

My question is- are the muzzle flashes on all 3 lmgs suposed to be the way they are? I mean, they block sight entirely.

I have never fired a lmg, but arent the muzzle flashes too large- overmodeled? Shouldent the gunner be able to see what he hits?

Additionally, the french lmg peephole sight is still suffering from the old issue that pleagued the allied ridles- the Iron ring is too thick,m which makes aiming and leading extremely difficult. The french is a little better, but still bad.

Could we not have those iron rings thinned out as on the rifles, since the current combination of a giant muzzle flash and thick iron rings almost cer5tainly will cause a heap of frustration.

Still makes it impossible to see where you hit.

How is this realisticly- anyone have experience firing these weapons. I seriously doubt the muzzle flash obscure impact of bullets in RL.

I don't know about WWII lmgs, but the ones I fired didn't have a muzzle flash problem in daylight. Never saw one.

Yeah, but seriously, in this game, you cant see bullet impact even at 50m.

That just cant be right, not to mention its annoying as heck.

Fire at something, then you have to stop fire to see if you hit that inf. Ohh I dident hit him, fire again, did I hit him?
