Yeah happened on all my satchels. I thought they were warping, but those M10s blew up like I placed em correctly.

yeah they still work like they should (based on your placement) we think it's a render issue

Don't know for sure. In the last beta before first live release I placed a satchel on the Tiger sweetspot which disappeared and did no damage at all when it blew.

It might have been something else then though because all other saps I've done after that have done what they should.

remember that even if placed in the normally "correct" spot for success, there is not a 100% chance that success will follow ... every ballistic outcome is based on a range of consequential outcomes and calculations that seldom mean 100% success, except at the macro level of an idividual event (like a penetration occuring) ... the result is always going to be based on a cascading series of subsequent events that utilize the parameters of the individual elements or components ... you might penetrate the armour but the next part of the event is not successful, or the one after that, and so on

so while we understand the bug being reported here (satchel placement and where it renders as placed) you must never base your assumptions that ANY penetration event (and satchels rely on penetration versus armour as they are a HEAT weapon) will guarrentee any one result, variation is at the core of this simulator in most cases because of the number of contributing criteria that are simulated to produce that result

ie: don't think "place here it go boom" think "place here and it have high chance of going boom" ...... some chances are higher than others for a variety of reasons too numerous to detail in this message

it's the complexity of the series of events that almost any action triggers that gives it depth, and what makes most fail to grasp why some things happen that they were sure would go differently ... the down side is this confuses people but the upside is you aren't totally bored with it after 30 hours of play and looking for the next game to play ... and you get to become a skilled player where many have not, if you want to that is :D

The other day several of us were trying to take out 2 pzs, a 4d and a 2c, and all of the charges from multiple sappers clipped and the tanks kept trudging along.

When we tried ATRing the 2c the same thing: there was no rendering of impact points.

Eventually I was able to get a satchel to not clip on the driver port of the 2c and kill him and the 4d finally got killed as well.

I don't think they are doing what they are supposed to do when they clip.

We are talking over a dozen charges placed on each tank, at the most common sweet spots including the jackass spot, and nothing.
