Hi,

I talked to a few people that are getting the same issue. When I get EA behind me I cannot see their tracers. I only see the hits and explosions from their guns, but hits.

tracers were gigantic sized in previous versions

we scaled them to be more realistic, i suspect you aren't picking them up as easily and think they aren't there as a result, since unless you are looking along their flight path they are much harder to see now from an angle off

we could make them gigantic again :D

I saw them fine when they came ripping through the JU52 I was riding in last night (twice). Maybe they're only visible to infantry though.

not the same but tracer related

was in a fmb with a bell attacking.

the bell made a run on me ,his circle was still gray while coming in,

i suddenly heard impacts on my boat and seen splashes ,then as his circle turned red ,,i seen tracers and his guns light up along with the hits

Or maybe a notch or two bigger if possible. Or maybe leave them alone. I'm not sure yet how I feel about the current tracer setting...I know that frequntly I cannot see an EA firing at someone, but know he has because the damage from fire is showing up quite nicely. Should I be able to (realisticly) see tracers from 400-600m behind a firing aircraft?

Realistically, if you're 600m behind the firing aircraft and looking along his line of fire, yes, you should see his tracers if it's anything but a bright sunny clear day.

If you're 600m in front of the firing aircraft and he's firing at or past you, you won't see his tracers as they go by you, but you will see them out in front of you if it's other than bright and sunny. The key is the angular rate of positional change in your field of vision.
