exploding tow bug

Was towing my 88 out of esch, bumped into a flag building with it behind the halftrack, heard a big boom, and my screen went black. The gun hit the building, not the truck. Both crew were dead instantly, and hitting escape did not bring up the exit window until about 30 seconds after the boom. After mission reported a 'killed by' that was blank, just a hyphen, so nobody was hiding and threw a grenade or something. It wasn't a grenade explosion anyway, it was a really sharp crack-boom.

Oh man, that is just soooo frustrating after fighting the strange earthquake gun bounce either right after you deploy or right after your first shot, the sudden jerking aim creep where the sight will immediately try and rotate 360 degrees vertical or horizontal at full speed while your are delicately trying to aim at long range, on top of the tankers switching to aircraft every time I shot them, gahhhh. I'm fighting the game as much as the enemy it seems. All other aspects are glorious by the way, enemy movement is the best ever, graphics are sharp, etc...

There, I feel a little better... Just thought I would point out that possibly the exploding tow issue is back, though nowhere near as easy to trigger as it was years ago the first time around.

I'll try and reproduce this today. Sounds weird. I did see another post about tank clipping go boom.
