Anyone notice a difference in sniper rifle performance?

Im not ready to call this a bug cause I wouldnt consider myself an elite sniper. But I seem to be missing almost all my shots on running targets.

Perhaps the lead is different now. Perhaps its a FR thing. Perhaps its a bug. Perhaps I simply suck.

But I wonder if anyone else has noticed a difference. Frankly Ive noticed no problem with accuracy on targets other then ei.

Ive spent a lot of range time with it but not much live fire time recently. I did use it a lot in beta though and didn't really notice anything. I'm not the leet master though.

I noticed the same thing yesterday as axis sniper. I don't claim to be the best there is, but have enough experience to know what to expect and there seemed to be something off.

First, some guy broke cover and started running across a pretty big field from around 250m away. Two shots missed and he went into a bush, then came back out and started running again. 3 more shots missed, the last from maybe 100m.

I had enough time during this exercise to experiment with lead and it didn't seem to matter. Rifle was set for 200m, but time on the rifle range tells me that this is not a big factor within these limits and the dust puffs when the rounds hit were just beyond the target, so that part appeared to be ok.

Second, I was in town when another guy came running straight up the street towards my building and I fired when he was less than 100m away, aiming at his belly. No hit, no kill, and he just kept going.

My fps stays between 30 and 60 so I don't think it is a timing thing, it sure looks like the sight is off.

Test in live game with a building at a known distance, shoot at a window corner or whatever. This will tell if it is the sights.

If not, it could b the infantry predictor code has something wonky, and even though you should be hitting the guy based on visuals, the code thinks you missed because its calculations are messed up.

Since 1.31 came out I've seemed to have a lot more trouble making longish-range shots on EI using the normal rifles. I thought it was just me, but maybe there is something with the predictor code.

Mostly seems to be an issue when the target is moving at an oblique angle from you.

glad to hear its not just be thats noticed this. i had a similar situation happen tonight where it took me 5 shots to take down an ei. he wasnt even that far away (under 100ms) and it was only when he went prone that i clipped him.

somethin seems off.

Thats the thing. When I shoot fixed targets I aooear to hit at point of aim without problems. Thing is when shooting at running ei, with the leads that always delivered before, now nobody is falling down.

Making the easy shots on the stationairy targets is no problem. What it appears like to me is the ballistics on the lead when shooting at running crossing targets has changed. And so far I havnt been able to find the new lead for 1.31 yet. And Im talking 200 meter or lesser shots here. Not long shots at all.

I'm experiencing this exact same problem, though I haven't yet figured out what it is. Definitely noticing the difference on the k98 when I lead. Stationary targets seem ok, except I can swear something seems off to where it was before pre 1.31 -- Could it be netcode?

I'll add to this that I checked in offline mode with targets and the rifle seems to be hitting true. But when I'm up against EI -I'm starting to think the game thinks the EI is a little bit off from where I'm shooting at.
