I watched alfawulf fly around for a while yesterday looking like a comet or meteor or something.

His plane performance was just fine, but he was on fire and had a huge black smoketrail, and a fireball toward the back of the smoke trail.

Much as Romzy's posting style can give me headaches (and the fact that he's "NEVAR WRONG!!"), that post pretty much nails it on the head.

romz you['re] my damn hero

Ya know, at first Romsburg, you rubbed me the wrong way and I wasn't a fan. But over the past 12 months, you have really grown on me. You're precise, well spoken and although you are sometimes a little harsh, you are most often correct and in proper context with your responses.

I can't say [any]thing else [than] that the ban was justified considering that you have an 'impressive' TOS history....

The only thing worse than being talked about is *not* being talked about.

I never come to this forum, didn't really know it existed nor how to use it until this thread was linked from the Hangar and I came here to read it.

Here follows my experience from a couple days after v1.31 was released, originally posted in the Hangar:

A couple nights ago I had an amazing mission - I bet no one in the history of the game can equal this one.

It seemed I couldn't miss! Every single plane I shot at caught fire. Even once I was down to machine-guns only after my Spit9 cannons were expended, all EA blazed with just a touch of my trigger. I thought I must have had at least 20 kills, but since I fly with chat turned off I was not seeing kill messages... I was really looking forward to landing and checking my AAR and text buffer for how many and who I had bagged, but the EA were so thick I fought until ALL my ammo was gone. Then on the way out guns-empty, EA started bursting into flame when I simply LOOKED at them! All I had to do was focus on them for a full second and POOF! FIRE! I started doing that to burn every enemy plane in sight in every view - but when friendlies zapped by my lazzzor-gaze also started catching fire I went home... and re-booted. :D:D:D

I DID get 6 kills on that run though. Shoulda been at least 20 though! Oh! the humanity!

Note that friend and foe alike burst into flame, and that no rounds were needed: all I had to do was look at them for a full second.
