G-force blackouts in bedfords and Morris

Getting black outs from g-forces when driving a bedford in flat terrain that feels bumpy (not roads) when at slowest speed possible (gear 1, even when going up hill and the truck barely moves).

I think this is an old bug that was semi-fixed at one point??? Oddly it seemed tied to the compass point direction. Like facing exaclty N/E/S/W. Funny if it's back, I haven't Opel'd much yet this campaign.

There is no flat terrain (well hardly none).

Each terrain tile has built in bumps that are not visible but affect vehicles. Driving fast over open terrain is very detrimental to your health.

No intended changes here.

no gophur you dont get it.

1st gear, going up a hill, the truck goes so slow a walking infantry would outrun it. You get blackouts from G-forces.

terrain that has no inclination, you stop truck and slowly add gas to the pedal..you begin to black out.

This only happens in the bedford and morris... not on the laffy or opel.

I dont know if it has to do with terrain tile or what not.. it happens. It shouldnt happen.

The issue here is the multiple small bumbs. These will accumulate to blackout even tho each little bumb adds almost no G.

You have alway6s been able to blackout in trucks and even at guns will blackout when pushed over the bumby terrain.

This is of course incorrect and has nothing to do with G-forces, which I think CRS have never really realized.

The G-model seems to be working twofold. Partly of course as a function of the G-force, as in sustained turns in planes, partly as an accumulating force, where even the smallets g-force can turn into a blackout, if its repeated fast enough.

What is happening when you blackout pushing an anti tank gun is the last effect going into action, and it sucks. Its the same happening to trucks blacking out.

The fix would perhaps be to reduce the number of bumbs on each tile, so you wouldent bumb as much- to be honest, this would be just nice, since the bumby effect is annoying as heck. Another fix could be to tweak the blackout- algorithm I would guess, so it takes a certain minimum g-force before the accumulating effect is going into action.

I would definately suggest reducing the number of bumbs attached to each tile, as this would improve gameplay at the same time.

This bug is ancient, and yes, it is a bug.

It does seem more common now than before, when it happens this bug is really annoying.

The G-model for ground stuff ... which works off the same code that the air stuff uses ... is terrible but up until now, we have had to make do with it. It works quite ok for air but the ground doesn't really want to use the same code.

We're aware of the issue and we are working with it, but have no news at this time. Trust me, you would be hard pressed to find something I hate more than the ground stuff blacking out because the code for the airplanes cannot handle the environment of the ground vehicles in an acceptable manner.
