Noticed this the other day, not the most critical of bugs but might be related to people having missing bushes or what not.

Initial Angle tree LOD visible

Slight turn and it disappears.

Also found an angle related issue with tree shadows being projected onto the new high grass that disappears as the player turns, will post that when i find the pics.

Windows 7 64bit

AMD Athlon 64 6000+ 3gz (x2)

Nvidia 8800 GTS

Ram 4 Gb

Those tree types i feel are a little unbalanced LOD texture wise when compared to the other trees in the scene, like those lighter green bushes they stand out a little.

I wonder if this is related to the fact that sometimes plane circles disappear when you turn slightly, too? There's something generally slightly weird with how the way the distance related things are calculated depending on the angle you are facing.

That first one is odd but I think it is a non issue. LOD related yes. Will have to keep an eye out for it.

The second though:

I'm pretty interested in that if you can get a pic and/or a replication method.

Sorry think i may have worded this badly, the shadow doesn't disappear but the the shading on the grass does.

Pics anyway if its still worth looking at...

Shadow

Slight Turn = no shadow

Replication is just doing as you see in the pictures been able to do it everytime there is tall grass within a tree shadow.
