6pdr near unuseable

Spawn a 6pdr, aim at anything over 500m away and fire.

Target is completely obscured by a huge fireball in the middle of the sights making judging if hit near impossible and forced regaining of target.

Seems to be a 1.31 issue and strangely doesnt affect m1 :s

Same problem with the pak36 - when you fire it, not only does the gun move all over the place, the shots themselves hit nowhere near, where you aim. And to make it worse a large puff of white smoke completely obscures the sight

Talk about useless

I don't think it is always a problem. It might be somehow bound to the elevation of the gun.

I noticed with the 88 I cant take out tanks anymore from 2k+ The damn thing wont sit still after firing. used to be able to blow the turret off at 3k.

Interesting stuff regarding accuracy but my issue isnt accuracy..

I cant see the target at all when I fire as its covered in this huge smokey fiureball tracer thing. No idea if I hit or not and its not all guns/tanks that are affected by this, only some - ie m1 unaffected, 6pdr unuseable.

Agreed, I think it is much harder to judge a hit, and certainly impossible to adjust fire to hit a specific part of the ET anymore...

Thjere is a general issue with muzzle flashes in the game now.

LMGs are so obvious it hburts, aaa guns too at certain angles and now, I understand, also at-guns.

CRS needs to look at the first person muzzle animation.

With the 88 I've had issues with long range accuracy, a strange wobbling effect after firing - similar to the thing we used to get when parking a tank with the tracks touching a berm - and also a problem with seeing shots because of the explosion visual effect we now get after firing(as per the OP's description).

I've no idea if the 6lber is unique in how bad the effects are or whether the m1 is just alone in not being screwed up.

Some guns seem to have a huge fireball at the muzzle end when fired and you can't see diddly.

Now as to realism, maybe this is how it was in WWII, but they also had spotters to range the adjustments needed. In this game it is only "you" with the gun and it is very had to see where your shots are going or landing.

IMHO it needs to be toned down so we can see what we are shooting at.

I was having same issue with 47mm ATG as well.

Same for me, but only sometimes. Therefore I think it might be only on some surfaces/some elevations etc. I namely remember it happening when I was firing slightly downhill.

same problem with the pak 38 catfive..this isnt a side issue here fellas this is a gameplay issue, i can no longer accurately fix my range on shots due to not being able to see where my first shot hit...they only way to do it now is to fire the quickly switch to gun commander and watch the shot, and this method is by no means good...pls fix crs, lower the darn smoke and fire.
