Seriously, it's kind of rediculous. Is it possible get some kind of happy medium? The bushes and everything have more colour but are much darker especially in the center, while at nightime bushes are much brighter and easier to see completely, yet things lack colour. I'm all for immersion and if it were up to me id make night time as it is in real life yet I know that will upset and make a lot of people rage/leave. So can we get that level of darkness somewhere away from what it is now(none) and closer to make things a bit harder to see at night.....

As it is now it's just the reverse of what it should be.

Will post screenies if needed.

I'm sure this will be a work in progress for many years. It is hard to get right.

I live at the arctic circle in real life, and the game nights in 1.31 are lighter than the ones I have here right now... With the reduced cover in 1.31 darkness is needed to help bring MS in good places...

A small bump here...

Still no change in nighttime light conditions...

This picture was taken tonight in Chilly, game-time just past midnight...

Am I the only one that thinks this is way to bright? I made no adjustments to my gamma levels or anything and I use the same settings in all programs.

THis is a big problem since everyone have different setups. I think night is way to bright, others think it's way to dark. It has a lot to do with the type and quality of monitor, the amount of contrast it's capable of and so on. It's also been said before that most people don't calibrate their monitors correctly, doing so will change things at least a bit.

What I'm trying to say is this is never gonna be possible to do so everyone is happy. My old CRT was not good at all and I had to cranc gamma up even during daytime to see anything, imagine how bad it was at night.. So, spending on a really good monitor is well worth it. The one I have now is way to bright at all times but I can live with that.
