Thanks for the answer.

All I know is that something is wrong. Can't be that Spitfire has such fuselage, 09s normal, dewo breaks off like this (one 20mm) and the bell also seemed too weak. And the list goes on but anyway.. Not much balance there. Wingtips aside..

DOC says that the problem is visual ONLY.

Damage wise it is suffering from the same effects, just that it doesn't look like it.

Not a high priority fix really.

Actually, from a remodeling perspective (whatever is next to be remodeled in vehicles) it is the top priority. I just cannot say right now when the company is going to do it, because I don't know.

Really? Can i be cheeky and ask where ATG's are on that list?

They would be number 1 except the spitfire thing causes too many concerns to make it number 2. See how it goes ? Wanna be the guy that has to manage that ?

Um ... no ... you don't. ;)

It's all good. I'm fine with it when I know it's being taken care of at some time.

However I still don't know how you can say it's suffering from the same effects. Because it's not.

Let me put an example for you.

I come in with a 09 and shoot a Spitfire in a stall to side of the plane. Very common situation. I hit him with 8 20mm rounds.

Now what happens? Nothing, the Spitfire can still fly normally. I have tested it in 1.31 and that's how it was. The Spitfire maybe lost some speed but fully controllable and intact.

Now if take a Spitfre and shoot a 09 in the same situation. The tail section will fall apart and the plane is unflyable.

This is how it was in 1.31. If you can't understand it, or you're brainwashed I don't care. It's a big part of the plane that doesn't take damage how it should. Plus the wingtips roughly one third of the wing with same kind of problem.

Plus there was a problem with horizontal stabilizer. I can't remember if it was Spit2b or all spits. 20mm rounds went straight through the stabilizer from certain angle (I think it was shot from rear top).

I'm happy it's being dealt with. But I do think it matters how the planes act while shot at. That's the game I play. I have shot down probably thousands of Spitfires and it has never been so hard to take down. That's why we went to test it in the first place.

Just a reminder that this problem exists. I know, its been collecting dust for 5 years now, perhaps time to bring it back to the surface. I would have loved to see Jubax's vid, where he shows that this problem is not only visual, but its set to private. On a related note, we wonder why so many old players have left never to return? Fix some old standing annoying bugs like multicrew and damage models and you just might get them to return and stick for a while. They loved the game enough to play it for years, no reason to believe they don't have that nostalgia to return. So please, can we get an ETA as to when fixing such annoying bugs will become relevant to CRS again?

Bumping until I die / get banned / it's fixed :).

LOL, frantic0, you forgot to mention the fourth alternative. You get tired of it and quit. Which is apparently what happened. Unless you died/got banned/ or got fixed and I don't know.
