1.31.1.255 version - Video- Why British Cocks Dont Measure up.. sorry-

..you can co-ck a German Luger pistol, and you can co-ck a French Pistolet Automatique mle 1935a 7.65mm sidearm.. and then when you hold that limp British Webley in your hands, you try and try but just dont get the satisfaction from co-cking it...

If CRS stands for combat realistic sounds.. then someone needs to talk to the sound engineering guys and find out why the Webley is such a dud in the animations and sound department.. meaning the work to align the sound with the animation is a failure. See the video.

In case you decide to ask what other infantry weapons need a little viagra:

All Axis pistols reload ammo sounds matches animations ok.

All French pistols reload ammo sounds matches animations ok.

All British units with pistols reloading are missing sound halfway thru animation..

French ATR - deploy pod on ground has NO sound - (see mortar for sound)

French LMG - deploy pod on ground has NO sound - (see mortar for sound)

French Sniper - hand is clipping thru scope during reload

French Mortar - has sound for rifle ammo reload, deploy pod on ground has sound - switch ammo does not have sound - new feature (ammo case snap, click when presing 1 or 2 for ammo?)

French Grenadier - has sound for rifle ammo reload, has sound for cup attach and/or remove, has sound for grenade load.

mortar smoke sticks to roofs when fired in barracks / garage etc.

British ATR - deploy pod on ground has NO sound - (see mortar for sound)

British LMG - deploy pod on ground has NO sound - (see mortar for sound)

British Sniper - hand is clipping thru scope during reload

British Mortar - has sound for rifle ammo reload, deploy pod on ground has sound - switch ammo does not have sound - new feature (ammo case snap, click when presing 1 or 2 for ammo?)

Axis ATR - deploy pod on ground has NO sound - (see mortar for sound)

Axis LMG - deploy pod on ground has NO sound - (see mortar for sound)

Axis Sniper - hand is clipping thru scope during reload (minor - not as bad as British)

Axis Mortar - has sound for rifle ammo reload, deploy pod on ground has sound - switch ammo does not have sound - new feature (ammo case snap, click when presing 1 or 2 for ammo?)

Axis Grenadier - has sound for rifle ammo reload, has sound for cup attach and/or remove, has sound for grenade load.

Is the Webley an "automatic revolver"? If so, that explains why you don't need to **** it - it would be cocked when opened for loading... in which case it would be correct as modelled.

Its not the model thats wrong, it is the click when the pistol snaps open, followed by no noise for shells falling out, or inserting, followed by no noise when the pistol snaps shut.. view the other pistols sound /animations, and see the differences between length of sound and animation.
