Aircraft speed/sound is not correct

In a nutshell, the slipstream noise, or air rushing around the cockpit, should change in volume and pitch as the indicated airspeed changes. This will add quite a bit to the immersion factor.

Testing: With the plane at a high enough altitude throttle back, cut the engine off and pitch up until the prop stops rotating and listen to the slipstream. Then lower the nose of the plane straight down, again listen to the slipstream (very little change) as the airspeed wraps around to redline. While at a high speed bring the nose of the plane back to level flight and notice the sound dramatically changes in volume and pitch as the plane becomes level. Lowering the nose makes it quiet again.

It seems the sound is tied to pitch changes and not directly to airspeed changes. Recalling back to my Falcon 4 days sound effects played a huge part in realistic sensation of flying the plane.

S!

In some planes I am hearing nasty choppiness in the air over cockpit wooshing parts.
