Uncommanded change of weapon

This is one of those bugs that's been in the game as long as I can remember. Sometimes you'll just be doing your business as an inf and your currently deployed weapon will change for no reason, without any keypress - including the mouse scroll wheel, etc.

Normally just an annoyance, but I got killed by an EI today because my dude decided to randomly put away the rifle and bring out his knife...

Scroll wheel dying? Mine is and I need to unmap the mouse scroll to change weapons because it ticks up or down one notch when I click, or move it, or on it's own sometimes.

Awfully hard to click links sometimes in my browser because it'll flip up or down.

First I've heard of it. I'll keep an eye out. My first thought is it must be hardware or maybe a conflict with something else.

This would be super annoying. Can I ask you guys to remap your mouse wheel weapon change and see if that fixes it?

I will try this, probably should have tried it earlier. I can swear it's happened when I'm not even touching the mouse, but will make this change and see what happens.

With 1.31, I have experienced something a little different.

Change to knife, press L to lower weapon and sprint. Then try to switch to Binos or your gun and nothing happens. But if your left click on your mouse to fire, you ramdomly throw a smoke grenade.

It's your scroll wheel.

You have to make sure you leave it in a notch, if it's on the cusp of one it'll stay for a bit before randomly falling into the notch and making you switch weapons.

I think it would change whether you were touching it or not. Bad scroll wheel is my guess hence the keymap change.
