To muchRecoil animation on MAS 38

Well since training server is down I have been using offline mode.

So the MAS 38 has improved a lot at 20 meters you can full automatic get 31 shots of 32 on full automatic on the target on the shooting range.

But the recoil animation is inconsistant to the result it jumps all over the place. Making it impossible to see target MP40 or Thompson does not have the problem.

Can that be fixed please ?

Seen videos of it firing and it does not jump all over the place.

Actual precision seems okay.

Cheers

No this in fact requires an entirely new animation, the gun is actually shooting far straighter than your eye deceives your brain to think, and you end up over compensating when you don't actually have to, because you *think* it's shooting all over the place when it isn't.

A little time spent experimenting will reveal that if you *don't* compensate for the movement the animation is indicating (which isn't actually happening) you will suddenly be much more accurate.

We aren't getting new animations until the infantry 3rd person redo. Since that is already planned, that's what it will take to fix this issue. So nothing can be done "at the moment" because the dispersion of the gun in data is not the cause, it's actually pretty tight.

Just as a heads up, 25 meters is about the limit of the kind of accuracy you're looking for anyway. That's not the reason for not tackling this right now however, it's just an FYI of sorts.
