Getting stuck prone/crouching/etc

Not sure if this has been posted before as I only did a quick scan of topics and it's early in the morning but I seem to have a bug since 1.31 where if I keep tapping prone/crouch after 4-5 times it locks in that stance and the only way I can get out of it is to hit Esc, then Cancel, and then I'm free to change stances again. Died a few times because of it.

It is a new feature in the readme (go check once every patch) , so yes, they added it to prevent people from bunny hopping and porpoising.. warping to avoid being shot. All you have to remember now is to use your crouch and prone keys sparingly, more like in real life, you do not have spring heels.

The additional feature (in case you noticed) is while running forward, you can no longer make sharp turns, it is called inertia, with soldiers loaded down with plenty of weight, there is no realistic way to make warp type sharp turns anymore unless you slow down first.. with certain exceptions still being bug fixed as known issues.

Interesting, thank you for that. I glanced over the readme before and knew about the sprinting thing. This makes sense though, and knowing that it's time related is helpful.

Its lock for slightly to long in my opinion but yeah it's a feature, i think there is a bug that when you cant change position because your too close to an object (Trooper shakes his head) the game still adds those key presses to the counter or whatever, and of course when you are free to move it has then locked.
