How about that concussion bug?

We've got the beta testers running a new executable on the live server with some logging. No results yet. They can;t get it to reproduce.

Ramp and Oliver are building a new beta that has some funky messaging stuff that will send info to the host every time the effect is called.

There are 51 replie3s in the sticky thread asking for info. No replication method posted yet.

I'm running around the game world right now trying to get it.

Basically, we're getting nowhere. We can't really fix it until we can replicate it with a debug client and we've spent about 40 - 60 hours trying to do that to no avail.

I want to say it seems locational?

I was by in Grobbendonk the other day driving a Opel and it would happen to me for awhile as I was driving, then stop, then maybe 2-300 yards later it would start up again for a short distance.

I also seem to see other players start to complain about it when I see to get it as well.

Dunno if this helps, but my 2cents.

It's clear that the game somehow associates concussion being felt by someone else with you; the difficulty is getting it to happen so one can trace it down. It only seems to happen with big battles somewhere on the map but as to when and who gets it seems random.

I've had it many times, but the common factor for me seems to be that it's where AAA AI is audible, even if some distance away.

Actually my rider in my opel wasn't getting the bug that one time, but I have seen it happen to others around me the same time as it happens to me, and I have been able to run a distance and have it go away.
