Anyone else with no sound when they start the game?

I mention this because I've asked many and few seem to have this issue. Log in and no sound the first, 2nd , 3rd and up to 6 times in a row the other day. Its been happening pryor to 1.31 also

While on the subject, my ability to hear directional sound also seems to not work. We use to be able to tell direction of the sound but I'm not getting that after a few setting changes

If you are using software for audio try hardware, and vice versa. Sometimes it works with one and not the other.

What settings do you have for sound? what is selected as primary device?

how many sound cards do you have?

do you have mulitple sound outputs on your PC?

perhaps fix for b will fix a... report back with more information.

did this work before and just stop?

If so Directional sound is almost 100% meaning you have not set it to hardware sound.

Please set that in game and restart game and let us know.

Always leave sound set to hardware, install audio drivers (new or old) and test if you are getting strange issues.

Sound set to hardware + latest drives should be good to go.
